The Excellence Award Label is granted by APAVE after succeeding a food safety assessment based on international GMP & GHP requirements, as well as the NL 656 Lebanese Standard: “The General Principles of Food Hygiene” adopted by the Ministry of Public Health for their inspections.

The award is applicable for:

Restaurants / the catering sector / the food production industry / the banqueting department of hotels and academic institutions.

By choosing APAVE’s Excellence Award clients will get a recognition from an international independent body.

APAVE’s inspection will cover:

-        Storage areas,

-        Food production and the processing units

-        Assessment of equipment/ utensil condition,

-        Water/ sewage systems,

-        Garbage disposal,

-        Pest control

-        Structural components (walls, floors, ceilings, lighting and ventilation).
